Senior cricket at The Basin

The Basin has four senior sides currently participating in the FTGDCA

Our first division side currently competes in the Norm Reeves Shield which is the highest division in the FTGDCA.

In recent years, the club has participated in two divison one grand finals and has had all other teams continuously contend in grand finals. Last year we had three teams reach grand finals for one victory.

The strength of our senor club is junior development. Many of the players playing have come through our junior system and gone onto achieve outstanding results.

The club’s senior coach is Aaron Walter who has had an accomplished career throughout various competitions.

The first XI captain for the past couple of years has been Jayden Turcinovic who came through our junior program and has been an outstanding leader. Last year Jayden won the competition batting average and was also named captain of the team of the year.

As a club, we believe that hard work is the key to achieving ultimate success. We strive for excellence and welcome all new players to the club.
